“Having a leadership role at MICA is more than a resume builder. It is a community builder. My positions have given me a larger context for my education here and have granted myself and others the ability to share our talents with real purpose. For these experiences, I am entirely grateful. Truly, they have become part of my education.”

_“Being a student leader is like becoming the face of MICA not only to the public like my families and neighbors,
but also to the MICA student body itself. I met so many people from MICA that I would never have been able to meet, and it is so rewarding to see those people getting involved and loving MICA more through me.”

"How do I start getting involved?"
We hope that you take a few minutes to review some of the involvement opportunities throughout this website. Whether you are a first student or a senior, it's never too early or too late to get involved.
After you review this website and learn about the different involvement opportunities, take the first step in getting involved by taking the Involvement Survey! Once you've selected the different areas you want to be involved with, those respective offices will contact you with more information. You may also want to take some time to talk with the staff and students who work in those areas; this will help you find the right fit for you.
Applications for many of these positions will be available in late fall; some applications are available all year. Don't wait, get involved today!
